Oakley Class "Frank Penfold Marshall"

This is a photo of my 1/12th scale model of the 37foot Oakley Frank Penfold Marshall,which was based at St.Ives in Cornwall.This is the first time this model has been in the water for over 10 years.She performed very well,even when I opened her up fully,then slowed her down to go through her own wash.I had a minor problem when one of the steering rods attached to the rudder broke,at the same time as the battery ran out. However this will be repaired tomorrow and I hope to have her on the water again very soon.

The way I have seen you drive a boat Mick I'm not surprised the rudder broke !!!!

PS rudder has now been repaired,and she will be back in action very soon.Probably not this weekend though,going by the weather forecast!
