| Way back when, I remember 'Clive James on TV' ran a few of these dubious names. I particularly liked the soft drinks from Norway and Japan, respectively called "P*ss" and "Sweat". Why do we remember stuff like this? My 'rather correct' little Mum was always a sucker for a fart joke, even when she was in her 70's. Do we ever truly grow up - or do we just grow old? Discuss. DM just disgracefully causing as much bovver as we can lol...........just posted this on another forum, lol...........happened to me last week on hols. just got back from a windy, wet and wild holiday I need reassuring about the women from north of the border.....for future dating references. I sat listening to a busker on Buchanan street in Glasgow when a woman barged her way onto a bench that a young Japanese lady and I were sat on......and proceeded to light up a fag and blow smoke in our faces.... I asked her to blow it in the opposite direction..........and she went ballistic.....threatening to throw her coffee over me and then spat in my face.... I have often wondered what the process of making a citizens arrest was, and phoned the police ON 999 to report the assault, whilst following her from street to street and finally cornering her in a building on George Square...... Whilst still on the phone to the handler and waiting for the police to arrive, the woman attempted to push me down the stairs 4 times, that I had blocked her on.......the handler told me I could use reasonable force to apprehend her whilst the police arrived....... And just as I was about to.......two police officers arrived.....cautioned her and then arrested her.........not for assaulting me............but for assaulting the officers and verbally and physically abusing them, lol.........and off she went in a van, kicking the shit out of the interior and rear doors............. Did I say something wrong or are all lassies north of Hadrians Wall so hot blooded n fiery, lol |

| I've not had any issues with northerners in my life time to date ( although i rarely visit but do have some Scottish mates) i have had some bover with the damn welsh and their piss poor attitudes up here.
I've had a few instances with mothers and their kids causing issues hurling abuse, to which i just respond with the notion that my life don't evolve around seeing which extra benefits i can get for free, around me the welsh language is also a pain in the arse, if you can't speak welsh or don't even carry the accent you get looked at funny or sometimes ignored....
I once was at a local convenience picking up a pack of smokes asking clearly what i wanted, the woman behind the counter looked at me funny asking again what i wanted.. so very slowly i say the same thing again ( almost like i was talking to a 3 year old) and then she said to me, sorry i can't understand you without a welsh accent!
My only response was ''you speak English and yet can't understand it when someone without an accent speaks clearly to you, i think this job is the best you can hope for cos i doubt you'll do well out of a valley!'
I've also found the welsh to be bloody nosey as sin everyone wants to be in everyone's business, and that gets annoying, my life shouldn't be the discussion of the entire community.
Kids here are a nightmare... they knock on the door for my kids to play but not just knock once and wait for answer they constantly knock and knock and knock until you answer, even after saying you don;t have to keep knocking i heard the first 100 times... then you have other issues, when you say to them my sons not coming out ( for what ever reason and its usually the weather at the moment, but there have been times when my kids arn't in and they have gone out with their mom) and they question you ... nosey!
Then we have a couple of neighbors who thinks its ok to burn his trash rather then recycling it so we have a weekly bonfire coming from a couple of gardens over smelling of plastic and fogging up the back of the house.
Honestly if i get a chance to move back home to Cornwall i'll be the first one on the train back... i guess when you move somewhere that's not your normal and you have been brought up differently ( and by that i mean PROPERLY & BETTER) then your always gonna find fault...
Only good thing up here is the free prescriptions on the NHS which is saving me a bloody fortune!
rest of it can go DO one... _________________ I'm Not Anti-Social, I'm Anti-Stupid.

| Its probably me... my better half is welsh so she doesn't have these issues.. I am actually a take no bull sh*t type of person nor do i mince words, i'm also rather blunt and just say it how it is.... Many a person has found that to their disliking over the years, to which i can only say i don't care so get over it.. what can i say, i'm a nice guy but I just don't tolerate stupidity, arrogance and idiots! It could just be boredom at present, i haven't sailed a boat in near 7 months, last time was just after i moved up and had an argument with a local sailing a yacht on a public pond in the park, haven't been back since. a 9 and 11 year old dont want to do anything but play in computers... better half dose her own thing leaving a 15month old... not much i can do with her apart from play with baby toys.... which might also explain my lack of enthusiasm over the last few weeks to progress on anything majorly, stuck in a rutt with ill health, 3 kids! holiday in 2 weeks ( home to visit parents) so i might come back happier, and preferably with a plan to move back! i know dad would love that! _________________ I'm Not Anti-Social, I'm Anti-Stupid.
