one or two of you might have heard on the grape vine, but my lack of modelling on here is now becoming noticeable...……

three weeks ago I had a bad fall in the bedroom...tripped over the duvet.....and have fractured my tibia adjoining the knee.......badly bruising the knee cap and fibula and my foot;also injuring my ankle and tearing the ligaments and such other things in the back of my leg…...and truly I just cannot get around on my crutches without stumbling.......I feel like a one legged man in an ass kicking contest.....50 blooming years of motorcycling on big bikes, including racing clubmans, and not a single injury..........and I trip over a sodding duvet.

as such I can't do much other than sit around in front of the tv or computer  all day, giving my backside the proverbial pain.........I wouldn't dare even attempt to get into my workshop for fear of falling and cracking my head on something............so model building has come to a halt for the next few weeks.......am champing at the bit.......but don't trust myself not to injure myself more.....

not given up guys, just too much in pain and warry of falling again until I'm healed and can get around without crutches.

cheers guys..........I am on daily, but nothing much to say unless to comment on Barrie's fine builds.

cheers for now. neil.

to be honest, larry…….I had to laugh at it myself, it's so stupid...…….and then to cap it all, I drove my daughter down to reading for the day to have a look at the university there....[the doctor and nurse said the driving exercise would do the muscles and ligaments good to keep using them.....that's a laugh in itself]......was so tired on Saturday night when we got home I cracked  toes on my other foot on my bed post...…..so been arsing around since then, and don't know which leg to hop on...…..good job I've two crutches, or i'd have a broken nose as well, lol...…...i'm a walking disaster...….well, a  hobbling one at least.

you gotta laugh or you'd cry.
