there are so many companies that double produce, that they end up selling to others and without word of mouth or you going to shows it is hard to tie such down to certain manufacturers.....
macs mouldings, model slipway, mountfleet models are the major ones, but there are smaller companies that do all sorts of fittings at all sorts of fittings for all sorts of models.
if you ask Stavros who organises the blackpool show, he might have a list of the smaller companies that attended last Octobers show, who are the small manufacturers...………
I cant think of the names of two of the ones I saw at blackpool, but I don't take much notice, because I scratch build all mine...………..but there are many fittings that these small companies make in different scales, especially fishing vessels...……
so that would be your best bet...…….and some of these manufacturers attend such small provincial shows as mobile marine models are holding over Lincoln way this very weekend.
