Good evening to one and all,  thank you for your welcome.
    I have been boat modelling for 60+ years.  I prefer wood to work with,  but have a variety of models built between 1914 and now, a variety of paper mache, tin, plastic, fibreglass and wooden.
    At present I have approximately 50 models,  of which about twenty are ready to use, the rest either need repairing or restoration, plus a few that have yet to be built.
  Restoration of vintage boats is my passion then sailing and displaying at vintage shows.
   I'm fortunate to have a wife who is also a boat modeller. She often helps with the fidddley bits as I suffer with severe arthritis and a prolapsed vertebrae which limits my hands.
