Help!

Not an RC enthusiast per se but, need some help converting my Kayak trolling motor to RC (see new post [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]).

I'm (57) years young, orginally from San Diego, CA (Oorah!), now living in SoJersey since 2012 (don't ask, haha). Having been quite active in the rockclimbing circles out west for 30+ years, I've now taken on the cardiovascular sport of BASS FISHING on the east coast...most recently in a Kayak.

Anyhow, I'm hoping that you all, with RC experience, can help me out.
