Hi there! (Hi Hunny)
Well, I am new to all this boating myself. Aron on the other hand has been doing it for a while now and for a while all I have done is trip over boats in the house.
But he has managed to convince me to join in.
It took me a while to decide what boat I wanted to do, I have always said that I'll know what boat I want when I see it.
I do like the idea of doing a narrow boat, and decorating it to make it look homely. The sailing side of things for some reason doesn't really appeal to me as much as the decoration and little details, but I suppose I'll get into it eventually.
I'm going to be buying the hull and all the bits at the end of the month, when I get paid and I'm looking forward to getting started on this project.

There will probably be a few arguments between me and a certain person as to how this boat comes together Rolling Eyes

lol!

I've also been told I'll have to put pictures up on here to show progress, well I'll take the pictures but putting them on here is the job of the computer whizz lol!

I've shown your letter to my better half but she cannot type, but sends her best in your pursuit of a pink Barge with wall paper.

Perhaps you can get your Husband to fit it with Jet engins and when people see in on the water you can 'Burn off' across the lake, just to show em. cheers

Hello Katy. Welcome aboard. Reading that you enjoy working with details, and that you are not so concerned about sailing on the pond. Sorry to say it can take a long time before the urge comes, when it comes to sailing. Have spent years to get there myself.
The joy of creating details. Has been for me more important than sailing.
In addition, I'm terribly bad on electronics.
Not many have succeeded installing car stereo in a way that it only worked when the lights were off.
