Hi - Happy New Year..........

Hi,

I am 67 years young and a keen modeller - since retirement at 60 I have built 2 fair sized Model railways (we moved house!) and Dragon Flite/Force 95/65 yachts and a Micro Magic yacht 

My latest build has reached completion (after app 500 hours!) today...................see below


and ............. I have just agreed a deal with a guy on Facebook for an untouched Aeronaut Diva kit as I like the idea of building a (slightly quicker/less involved) retro varnished boat 

Building stuff is my real passion so the Tug might be listed in the near future 

We currently have a boat on the River Severn hence the interest and I am also a recently joined member of the excellent Droitwich Spa Model Boat Club

Hi Jules, and Welcome to the site, now that is a lovey look model you have made.

When you start on the Diva please do start a build log and take a lot's of photos (we do like photos) of you work.

Hi Jules,

Welcome to the Forum. As Fred says we do like build logs with photos! Like you I prefer building to actually sailing my models especially as the lake is nearly 30 mile away.
