Hi there all! My first RC boat build. I have RC gear but my question is what size engine and battery combo would you recommend for a 16" wooden boat - I dont want stupid fast, just relatively scale speeds.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I have fitted a 385 brushed motor into my similar sized Aerokits Patrol launch.

The model has not been sailed yet, but the 380 size motor was a popular choice “back in the day”, so a 5 pole version of the same motor should be a good match for it and Uncle Tom.
