Clutch

I recently found an old Mamod steam engine in my garage and I've been toying with the idea of converting one of my old paddler models to run it.

I did this years ago, quite successfully until it caught fire and sank but I had no control over it at all other than vague direction so I'm wondering if such a thing exists - a small clutch thingy that can be controlled by radio, ideally directional but let's not get too ambitious eh?
