| Love them all Barrie
theClyde Pilot is nice, the lines on Pushover are so crisp and it just made me smile anyway. I'm interested in what you did with/photos of the Huntsman because I've just got a Precedent Huntsman (in a real mess) to do up.
How about photos of those that have sailed away ............. ha ha, or have you had enough of trying to post up pics for one night:roll:

| Thanks Dave! Pushover no longer looks so crisp I'm afraid. Too much dust in the workshop I built it because I wanted to make the wheelhouse go up and down. Its loosely based on Egrete, but using a MMM plastic hull. The Swordsman was built from scratch using Dave Milbourn plans - originally published in Model Boats. I do have some photos of the construction but I don't think they will help you with your restoration if yours is a Precedent kit. I'll sort out 'the ones that got away' another night. Barrie | |

| Thanks Dave. Its a Billings plank on frame kit. Not a kit I would recommend as not very well designed for RC. Very little access, and 'instructions' which are almost worse than useless. Has some very nice brass fittings though Barrie | |

| When I bought my Hale's Spraymaster, I was given (for free) a Billings Will Everard NR 601 kit (opened but hardly touched). I don't know anything about the boat but I suppose I will get round to it one day.

neil. Thanks Neil. No - its Trotomares. I bought it because I thought I could convert to RC, but the construction of the hull was such that it was beyond my skills! It lloks good in the photo, but all the wood was laser cut and close up the edges show the burn marks which I couldn't get rid of. Barrie

| Barry. You seem to have got rid of, sold, allowed to escape or otherwise disposed of some really nice models.

| Geoff Yes - but you can't keep them all! If I didn't dispose of them I would have to stop building Barrie | |

Peter Peter - I don't work that's the key! This is the product of some 12 or 14 years building since I retired. The Fireboat is a Deans Marine kit except the cabin. I didn't like the clear acrylic moulding they supplied so I built my own in Plasticard. Its currently got a 1400kva brushless and 7.4volt LiPo. This plenty fast enough for me! Barrie

Peter Peter, Yes the bridge does go up and down - that's why I built the pusher. I don't have a video, but I'll try and make one. The mechanism is quite simple - here are a couple of photos. I have a servo slower on the channel so it doesn't shoot up and down! Barrie

| well I'm retired and seem to do less,re the fire boat, I bought a deans hull at one of there shows it was a second and I did not realise how second it was. I fitted two 1700 brushless motors in it was my first play about 4 years ago when i bought them and then looked for a hull. well it went er to well it was like a mad dog and had to be put down one like yours would have been great but two no good as I didnt buy the kit because i thought there way of putting a jelly mould on top was not my cup off tea, so I used plasticard and fiberglass sheet it is a great product so light 0.005mm thick easy to use paints fantastic easy glue and you can stiffen it by putting a curve in it and so light. I really like that sytem for lifting by the way. P | |

| Yes - they can be interesting in corners Last time out I flipped mine over on a tight turn. I think it may have been because the battery was loose. Luckily it didn't sink and the cabin and rear well stayed on until it was pushed back to shore. Lost a servo and Rx though through water damage. Barrie | |
