| Well it's finished, and the weathers cleared up so i went with the Mrs to my local Pond, and shot the Video on a Brand spanking new Camcorder. The end result you can see, and i gave it a new name "Aurora", my Mrs Dawn shot the video, not bad is it. Here is the link.

| Looking great Tony.
Oooohhhhhh that lake made me so jealous I wish our local councils thought more of their constituents the local bird and wild life a concrete edge on your pond is 100% better than manoeuvering rocks or slimy concrete sloping banks. The greenies have a bigger voice here than modellers in Aust, all our water is single or dual use with focus on natural habitat for birds and wildlife. |

| Thank you Windy & Damien. Windy you must post pictures up of your boat before, and after, i would be interested in seeing them.
Damien i would hate to do what you have to do to sail my boats. Maybe they could do a section of the lake/pond for the model boaters just a thought.
I dont know if i said this before but the Hull is 50 years old, another 8 years, and it would be as old as i am. I find it very therapeutic when i'm working on a boat after my stroke, i lose myself in the construction, and it helps me think, i never work to plans. I met a young lad about 12 or 14 with his Dad yesterday when i sailed the boat, and he'd built an homemade Airboat, and it wasn't bad for his first attempt. He was eager to learn, and i gave him a few pointers, i forgot to give him my business card so he could contact me. I of course mentioned RCMB to him, and told him he pick up lots of useful tips on here. | |

| For my next project i'm thinking of buying one of these. I've got a spare R/C system that's gathering dust so i might as well use it. Simples. Deans Marine Air Sea Rescue Launch 63 Or one of these. Deans Marine Air Sea Rescue Launch 128 Or at a push one of these. I know it's an Helicopter, and this is a Boat Forum but i don't think the moderators will mind LOL. I hope not. | |

| Thank you Neil, i am proud of her. When i ripped the old cabin off, and threw it in the bin (The best place for it i might add), and started building the new cabin from plans inside my head, it came together like a dream.
cheers Neil. Tony | |
