Bought a 4ch rc set on ebay on the 3rd dec got an email to night saying item out of stock should have more in 10 days.
call themselves revolutionshop_uk but based in Hong Kong

Contact them and ask for a refund and mark them down. They will not like that if they are a good ebay company.

I would report them to eBay. Sellers are supposed to only list stock items.

I had a go at them I got an email with a code for $5 off my next purchase no much to interest me though mostly stock car, helicopter an high speed boats.

Don't just give negative feedback - report them to eBay. They are breaking ebay's terms.

report to ebay, and put in a cancellation of transaction to ebay and then if you payed via paypal, put in a claim for your money back.

Purchased and paid for on 3/12/2012 got notification today it was posted 26/12 it usually takes around 45 days to get from Hong Kong to Aust if not here at 45 days from purchase I'll start dispute proceedings.

blimey Damien......it takes half that time to get from HK to UK, at the most..........something wrong there.

It doesn't matter what part of that region China, Hong Kong Sth Korea or Vietnam they all take 5 to 6 weeks to get here where UK is 7 days and USA around 10 days.
They had 3 separate listings for more than 10 available but had no stock at all,
I have reported them to ebay and I've started a Paypal dispute because Sunday is the 45 day and ebay shows any disute needs to be lodged by the 29th If the gear arrives I can always cancel the Dispute.

I guess there is the possibility every thing from that region gets inspected by customs.

Stick with the complaint Damien it will cost nothing and they have broken ebays basic rules you may even get your money back also a negative feed back will help others avoid these dodgy traders

I received the gear on the 6th Jan marked as posted Honk Kong 29/12 2012 just shows slack HK sellers.
Anyway I tried to put the antenna in it went in but didn't connect with a screw as expected and when I turned the TX over there was quite a rattle I then discovered there was no ratchet on the throttle and the stick flopped up and down.
So I've started a Paypal dispute and asked for a refund.

I forgot to add there were no instructions at all and the gear has 4ch mixing and the Rx has 4 slots for servos and none for battery. when I asked for instructions I was sent a PDF of instructions for a small foam electric aircraft and in Chinese English.

Its quite common now to have no dedicated battery slot. Just use any, or if you need all slots for for servos, use a Y lead.

Thanks Barrie, that's the battery ? cleared up I'll wait until Paypal dispute is settled before opening the Tx up to see what's wrong with it.

The seller rejected my request for a refund and want to send a new antenna , there's nowt wrong with the one that came with it, it just needs a screw to mounts it on & no thought of the other problems they appear to have skipped over them.

The promised antenna has still not arrived I took it to paypal dispute after 10 day paypal decided if I returned it I'd be eligible for a partial refund having paid $31 for the gear Aust post wanted $34 to return it so I cancelled the dispute and left the seller a scathing 87 character negative feedback.
Please avoid Revolution shop UK on ebay.
