What is the diameter of a lifebelt? Are they standard sizes? I need some for my 48th scale tug.

Thanks

Barrie

you might think I'm going ga ga when I say this, but Polo mints are an exact size for 1:48th sized lifebelts, and if sucked lightly to get rid of the embossed writing, dried out and then varnished they really do make good lifebelts.....honestly.......it's a known fact, and I'm not going loopy loo

plus you get the pleasure of sucking the mints, and they cost very little, and are a talking point at the lake, lol

Thanks Neil Very Happy In fact I have a couple (plastic not mint) the correct size, but having another look at the model, I can't see an obvious place to put them! Maybe Aussie tugs didn't have them Laughing
