| Hello to all members. I am an absolute beginner to model boat building, my first boat was the a Mantua police boat this was just to see how i got on with this new hobby well it turned out quite well so i thought i would try something a bit bigger so bought the Aerokits sea commander which i am in the process of building i seem to be getting along fine with this model here's a couple of pics of progress to date (tried to upload picture but i think i will have to read the instructions again) Mantua police boat [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]off for a pint back soon Ian | |

| There are loads out there. You will be spoilt for choice.
I suppose it's down to individual taste and dependent on whether you like building plank on frame hulls. If you're going for a tug, I would start with a fibreglass hull as you can progress to top sides quicker for your individual touch.
