Amlwch Pilot boat

I bought this Hull form a local Model shop for the vast sum of £5 and hadnt got a clue what to do with it till I went fishing funnily enough to Amlwch !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The hole you see in the stern was made by me as I had to cut approx 3 ins off the keel as I dint want to go twin Props.

The hull was taken to work to be primered and have the superstructue painted in vw orange,I used aeroosl of satin black and red primer at home in the shed

A roof was made for the mast and the boards were made for the Port and Stbd light

Cant beat a bare hull to start a project for £5.

good stuff matey............same hull as my flying Christine.......nice lines.............but for your next project...............something a little more unusual.........i'll even start you off on it with a pic..............taken today IN PORT GLASGOW.........a rig platform vessel.................WHAT A MONSTER,,,,,,,,, I mean, those two cranes aft must weight a few thou tonnes on their own, lol.
