Nicely tended pool, reasonable parking and lots of ducks!

Alway's pop down for there Sub Events. greet friendly club.

Just had an e mail the club's closed for events and meetings due to you know what.

I think this trend will be the norm of all clubs very soon. 
Some are just cancelling open days and continuing for members only

Bournville is out of action for a while i.e. the pool has been drained for repairs and a clean out.

Bournville has re-opened after repairs have been completed the water is absolutely gin clear for now, sailed my pegasus last Sunday till the battery went flat.

I'm posting this in my position of Power boat team leader, the pool is presently closed for sailing due to an outbreak of avian flu in the area so if anyone reading this who was planning on attending any planned events in Bournville to check the website as the situation is changeable and alternative venues for events are available.
Well that's pestilence, War and famine next?

The pool is still closed the avian flu seems to be spreading to outlying areas but not as bad as Birmingham.
I was only joking when I wondered if War was next by the way  .

Sailing is back on from the 1st of May but as avian flu is still a risk however reduced somewhat all boats need to be washed down on leaving the water, washing facilities are supplied by the club from the clubhouse so it's sailing only on designated club days as far as I can see as they won't be leaving hose pipes etc out unattended. If there's anyone reading this wants to attend on non club days feel free but I'd pack a container of water with you to wash your hull down avian flu is no joke.
