POTTERIES MODEL BOAT CLUB

POTTERIES MODEL BOAT CLUB Regular meeting place is Westport Lake, Stoke-on-Trent, ST6 4RZ. (close to M6 J15 or J16, just off the A500). Meet on Wednesday and Sunday mornings, usually from around 9.30 until dinnertime.

Good facilities with large jetty for launching boats from. Ample free parking lakeside, cafe (open daily from 10ish), toilets and good access for everyone. Large playground for children and lots of nice walks through the nature reserve. Potteries Shopping Centre is short drive away for the 'non-boating' travellers and is open as usual on Sundays. Non members welcome, the more the merrier! Navy Day 2011 will be on Sunday August 7th.
