Nice addition to the forum, not many do video logs,
My old man built the mobile marines tig tug a few years ago, with the intention to stick a steam plant in it, he opted to build a steam launch instead of wasting the plant burried in superstructure, anyway a few photos of him build help give you some inspiration.

OK, stuck again!
It seems there are two layers for the hull 'plating', an inner / under layer ( Light grey on the hull frame ) and an over / out layer that's colour / 'paint' layer. ( dark pieces at he top ) ... does that sound about right for a card / paper model?
Also, what is all the 'pinking' for?
The instructions translate as: See also Hatch aft cz.1m + n. Keel plating cz.3 top up cz. 3a, similarly, the sides of the cz.4L and P, 4AL - P and 4bli P. We glue them to the skeleton, then stick them to the cz. 5P and L, merged with cz.5aL and 5aP [Figure 4]. Mount a stand under model, with cz.60 and 60A [Figure 2]. We can install as two separate elements: cz. 6L and P + 6AL and P. 6bl and P + 6cl and P. Po they are connected to the hull by straps of cz.6d L and P + 6eL and P.

I don’t see any “pinking” honestly I have no clue what part goes where having never done this kit before, I’m just enjoying your build,
If all else fails what do the instructions say

I imagine the pinking is so it folds along the line without creasing as it curves too

OK 'bit the bullet' today and decided to affix the hull plates, nothing fix or I'm doing something wrong..... OK, agreed, probably the latter.
Stuck myself to the model count: Today = 4 Total = 9

Another excellent episode, what camera and editing software do you use to record with, I have an older HD fujifilm camera I barely use but it’s got a lot of options, was tempted to do a video log myself at some point, suggestions?

I've used several RR, but now I mainly use Filmora9 as it's simplest (fastest) to use.

I had a go at flattening out the Sole plate, that had developed a pronounced 'bow' due to poor workmanship from the dockyard ...
( A few ugly cuts along the keel and judicious amounts of superglue! )
