Hi One & All

O.K so I am going to open that can of worms.

When you may or may not use any of the following, do you solder the wire going into the connector?

This one I do, as I feel that only a few of the wire are caught by the screw of the chock block.

The next two I do not

Hi Fred - I'm afraid I rarely solder before using any connectors. I'm sure it would be better if I did, but I've not had any problems with not doing so.

Hi Fred,
If i am just testing things out then i don't bother to solder.
For a finished job i feel it is best to solder.
So just to stir the pot what about crimps LOL!!

Martin.
