Subject: Pacific Envoy Cargo Ship Fri Aug 19, 2011 9:04 am
I served as a steward on this ship in 1963, and found the A4 plans in 1966. It wasn't until 2005 that I started building her. It was my first scratch build. I used different wood and fibreglass, hence when I tried to sail her I needed to include stabilisers to keep her upright.
Hi PJG thats a lovely model and your 1st scratch built too:!: Quite an unusuall subject too suprising really how few seem to build comercil vessels post 1900 ish
