| Gosh, she looks fast and sleek. Turning into quite something impressive there. Well done. I know it's not easy for you with only an old ironing table. Cheers Ken | |

| Very impressive indeed. Er indoors won't let me bring my efforts into the house. so they are a wee bit dustier than yours. A smashing display that I'd love to see in the flesh. Looks like a busy day in the harbour All the best ken | |

| Hey Richard, Change your address to "The Model Museum" You could get Government grants to run it and charge entry fees!!! | |

| Thanks chaps. This afternoon and yesterday afternoon has been spent making the davits for the rhibs. Yet another job full of awkward angles. I made the davits using Plastruc plastic sections. Now all I have to do is convince Steve in Oz that the world will be a much nicer place if he could make the rhibs for me. My radar domes are still winging their way here from down under. | |

| This week I received my resin castings from Steve in Oz and they are some of the cheapest and the best that I have had the good luck to purchase. I have now fitted the radar domes and painted them and the deck surfaces. I have assembled the gun and platform and fixed and part painted them. I have assembled the liferaft containers and their davits and their handrails ready for painting and fixing. Just a few more fittings and the two rhibs to go now, once Steve has turned out the rhibs. Thanks to Glen in Oz for giving me a prompt answer with photos to one of my queries about the positioning of some of the fittings. | |

| What's happening with the windows? I was watching 'Sea Patrol' earlier, and they seem to be just tinted dark (black from a distance) but I was wondering if your chosen prototype is different? | |

| Hi Matty The windows are tinted dark brown in real life, mine are tinted darker as at the scale I have done this model is so small the bridge detail was not possible because of weight saving and I could not see the point in looking in at a hole in the floor of the bridge. | |

| Had a fairly good weekend and have more or less finished the Armidale. Now all I have to do is hope that Steve doesnt change his mind and is still going to do my RHIBS for me. I shall now put it on ice until I get the RHIBS and then I will finish it completely. Up till then I will get on with my USS Arizona. | |

| Thanks to Steve and Brian in Oz I have been able to get on with the RHIBs. These are very fiddly at this scale and what you see in the photos is just over a days F ing and B ing. Still they arent turning out too bad really. Watch this space. | |

| I have now finished the RHIBs and davits. Have just received the new battery from The Component Shop, so I can try out the new motors I have put in her. | |

| One word "WOW!" . Correct me if I'm wrong Dicky isn't that one of the fast patrol crafts that patrol the waters off Australia looking for Drug smugglers, and illegal fishing boats?. | |
