| I sometimes wonder about those stats especially given the trend for very localized weather patterns. these used to be considered freak conditions Ie ottery st mary 3 yrs ago suffering a devastating hail storm in I think May however silly weather is getting more common and must play havoc with the stats given the relatively few measuring stations, 1 or 2 per 100 square miles (not high density), in the country

| thanks guys..............yes, Phill I am very pleased with the way she sails..........she was so steady and , dare I say, stiff on the water.......no roll, and she had little yaw and sailed through the water instead of on top of it, giving a true lifeboat like performance..............and not a single drop of water in the hull....absolutely dry as a bone.......
well pleased with her................just have to pick a nice day, now to get the other two on the lake........perhaps next spring, by the way this weather is going, lol |

| That doesn't sound good Neil ! surely there's some form of redress against a neighbor who deliberately alters drainage and causes a problem ? | |

| no mate.....I contacted the council when he did it, and they said there was nothing I could do, as the ditch was on the other side of my fence...ie on his land..........and anyway, he's long gone to sunny south france.......
he was a retired squadron leader who used to train the Red Arrows.......and was used to barking orders, but when he came up against me, he didn't have a clue how to handle me....so just stuck his head in the sand and did it his way come what may..........it did flood his garden as well, but not as much as mine, and probably realised afterwards that he'd dropped a bollox and never spoke to me again, lol |

| he was, matey...like most that have gone through the ranks....they can't think for themselves, as are used to taking and barking orders from and to others, and when exposed to clear thinkers.
They really are like fish out of water!! |
