talking of trawlers sinking...........Damien, do you remember some years ago a trawler running aground on the Great Barrier Reef.........a british trawler that some numpty from england was sailing around the world with his polynesian wife.....
once it had run aground in a storm, he decided to live aboard..................what happened to that one matey........do you have any clue.
I have a full story of her somewhere, and some areal pictures of her somewhere.

the trawler had been renamed Debut when she grounded but was originally called Rinovia

Nothing worse than an ex copper!!!! And I should know.....

I always found it really bizzare, and very strange sort of life for a chap who had been so regimented in the police force to do something like that........but fascinating just the same.
